PCC-COS technologies, protocols, architectures, pods and derived implementations may be licensed. Licensing is a considered conversation, handled through a separate, high-scrutiny process — not a self-service transaction. This page sets expectations; pricing and terms are established privately.
What may be licensed
- PCC-COS technologies and enabling organs (for example the communication fabric, capability and evidence structures, reasoning and integration components).
- Deployment patterns and pod configurations.
- Reference implementations for defined fields of use.
How licensing is shaped
Consistent with our stewardship charter, licences are shaped by combinations of:
- field of use, purpose and territory;
- customer class and duration;
- milestones, minimum commitments and commercialisation obligations;
- reversion conditions.
Well-funded commercial organisations normally pay full and proportionate market value. Humanitarian, charitable and community-benefit deployments may be free or strongly concessional. Research and educational licences may be affordable and bounded while preserving attribution and lineage.
Principles we hold
- No customer, investor or partner gains hidden authority over PCC’s constitutional principles, operator sovereignty, ethical boundaries, developmental lineage or humanitarian purpose.
- Broad or permanent exclusivity is not granted merely to secure an early payment.
- Sale or assignment of core IP is not a default path; it requires separate, high-scrutiny review.
